2-year-old Boy Dies in canal

July 4, 2007: A 2-year-old boy known as Song Mengkear died in a canal water in front of his house when his parents were busy doing house work. The event occurred at 6:00 p.m. in North Prey Prygn village, Sangkat Choum Chao, Khan Dang Kou, Phnom Penh.

Witness said that water in the canal is quite deep. Though a child was a bit older than him, he would die when got into the channel.
