24-Year-Old Man Arrested in Bantaymeanchay

Bantaymenchay Province: 24-year-old man was apprehended on 9 July by Ou Chrou district police for stealing his friend’s motorbike to pawn. The suspect known as Dieb Sukhum, 24, is motor taxi driver in Boy Bet, said police.
His two accomplices Ya Trasork, 22, and Ya Muok, 23, fled. Sukhum was detained after having the charge of motorbike owner Chorb Reab, 23, living in Kbal Spean village, Bay Bet commune. The suspect confessed that he stole 2004 Honda motorbike to pawn for 4000 Bat, but the money was lost on gambling.
Song You, Ou Chrou military police chief said that after receiving the sue from the motor owner, he ordered his police to go to the pawn place and then police confiscated the motorbike and gave back to the owner.
