Phnom Penh: A 13-year-old girl committed suicide on Sunday in Chom Reun village, Tom Pun commune, Phnom Penh’s Mean Chey province. The dead girl known as Cheng En was from Takeo province. However, she lived with her grandparents to study in Phnom Pen. Police examined the corpse and they concluded that she committed suicide by hanging herself. Her grandparents said that the girl was angry with her mother, who did not give her money to buy new clothes and did not allow her to visit the homeland.
