A Woman Burned after Argument

Kandal Province: Net Mov, 41, was burned and got severely injured after she had an argument with her neighbor, who poured gasoline on her and burned on Sunday at 7:30 a.m. in Takmao district’s Prek Hou commune. The attacker Vanarun, 45, burned the victim when she was sweeping in front her house. One day before the incident, victim Net Mov and other villagers paved the road in front of their houses. Meanwhile, Vanarun did not help them pave the road therefore, Net Mov said that “some people do not help us pave our road, but they walk on it,”. When Vanarun heard that she thought that Net Mov mocked her and she replied that “I do not do and I don’t walk on some one’s head”. After that they cursed each other and next day the victim was attacked. The perpetrator was detained by local police.
