Jewelry Seller robbed, 100.000 dollars lost

Phnom Penh: A jewelry seller was robbed by unknown gunmen at 5 pm on 5 December 2007 in Doun Penh district’s Phsar Kandal I commune. The source at the scene said that the jewelry, pure platinum, Khmer currency, and dollars- totally 100.000 dollars, were lost in the robbery. A 26-year-old man, victim’s nephew, was serious injured in the head, and a 17-year-old girl, victim’s daughter, was shot in the right hip. After the robbery, the six robbers with a gun escaped on the waiting motorbikes safely.
