Land Truck Kills a Girl

Phnom Penh: A 10-year-old girl was killed by a land truck which trying to take over another truck at 3:05pm on July 2, 2007 along Phnom Penh-Hanoy road, in Onglung Kangan village, Eussey Keo district’s Khmounh commune. The shock traffic accident happened while the girl was crossing the road.
Ol Na, 10, lived with her parents near the scene was run over and killed by the land truck, said police and the truck is NISSAN brand; the driver went a way in the accident.
Before the accident, the truck drove like the wind from south to north. Arrival at the scene, the truck took over another one and ran into the girl who was walking across the road from east to west, said bystander. Added that the driver tried to stop his truck, but it was too fast to stop.
